A STREETWEAR BRAND THAT REALIZED THE INDUSTRY HAD A GAP.

BYC Design Shop is the offspring of the streetwear brand Bushwick Yacht Club, founded in 2020 by Aaron Nessel. We were and still are designing, producing, and selling our own apparel. We learned what makes a hoodie worth wearing: fabric, color, weight, fit, decoration, placement.

Along the way, companies started asking us to help elevate their corporate swag and employee gifting game, and we realized the industry had a gap. Promotional-product vendors could move units but had no taste. Creative agencies had taste but couldn't produce and ship 2,000 backpacks to three countries on a deadline. Upon this realization, BYC Design Shop was born. 

After dozens of corporate clients and thousands of units sold, BYC evolved into what it is today: a corporate merchandise and design operation that does both. One team, from idea to delivery.
